Using Design Thinking to Relaunch a Company
Design isn’t just about imagery. It’s a thought process that allows us to look at current parameters alongside abstract possibilities, weaving them together to visualize, create, and communicate a new reality. As Managing Director brought in to retool this struggling business, my strategic design experience allowed me to honestly assess the existing business plan, creative offering, and resources, and map it against the developing marketplace. Then, looking at potential solutions, applying the algebra of creativity to lay out an actionable plan from the past to the future.
In a marketplace dominated by slick imagery, technical jargon, and big, impersonal players, we made the decision to cut through the clutter by presenting a brash, tongue-in-cheek personality along with the humanity behind the work.
