Rock the Violet Concert Poster

This poster was designed for a benefit show intended to raise money for Hodgkin’s Disease research, in honor of a Deep Ellum icon, Cory Helms. The abstract design focuses on color and texture, taking the iconic violet ribbon and making it the strap of an implied guitar, with the information incorporated to mimic the woven texture.
